Delete Your Wunderli Account or Data

    Wunderli is the bedtime story app published by ArvenX GmbH, Zurich, Switzerland. This page explains how to delete your Wunderli account and the data associated with it, and how to delete individual data without closing your account.

    How to delete your account

    In the app

    1. Open Wunderli and sign in.
    2. Go to Settings.
    3. Choose Delete Account, complete the parent gate, and confirm.

    Account deletion is protected by a parent gate, such as a simple math question, to reduce accidental deletion by younger children.

    By email

    If you no longer have the app installed, you can request deletion by email:

    1. Write to hello@wunderliapp.com from the email address linked to your Wunderli account.
    2. Use the subject "Delete account".
    3. We will verify the request, delete the account within 30 days, and confirm once it is done.

    What is deleted

    When your account is deleted, we delete or anonymize the personal data associated with it, including:

    • account profile data, such as your email address and display name
    • the link to your Apple, Google, or Microsoft Entra External ID sign-in identity
    • device records associated with the account
    • saved stories, including generated narration audio and images
    • character names
    • credit balance and wallet data, where deletion is legally permitted

    We also instruct relevant service providers, such as RevenueCat, where possible and necessary, to delete the data associated with your account, except where they are legally required to retain it or where further retention is legally permitted.

    What is kept, and for how long

    • Purchase and payment records are retained for up to 10 years, as required by tax and accounting law.
    • Fraud prevention data is retained for up to 12 months, unless longer retention is necessary.
    • Some records may be retained longer where required by law, accounting rules, fraud prevention, dispute handling, security investigations, or app store obligations.

    These records are kept separate from your deleted account and are not used for any other purpose. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.

    Before you delete

    • Deletion is permanent. Deleted accounts cannot be restored.
    • Signing in again with the same Apple, Google, or email account afterwards creates a new, empty account.
    • Previous Credits and saved stories are not recoverable.

    Delete data without deleting your account

    You can delete individual stories at any time:

    1. Open Wunderli and go to My Stories.
    2. Select the story you want to remove.
    3. Choose Delete and confirm.

    Deleted stories, including their narration audio and images, are removed from our servers. Your account and remaining Credits are not affected.

    To request deletion of other specific data without closing your account, write to hello@wunderliapp.com and tell us what you would like removed. We will respond within 30 days.
